The Boathouse Nelson - post flood update
Hello Everyone .....................A quick mid-December post-flood Boathouse update. Thank you for all your concern and the good news is that Wakefield Quay is open again and The Boathouse was untouched by mud or water. With the current closure of Rocks Road it is fantastically quiet here (of people and cars !) and this is a unique time to sit on the deck and listen to the birds on the Boulder Bank.
• We had to close last Friday 16th as the road was completely blocked off but we will re-schedule the Southern Songwriters gig for next year.
• The Boathouse Cafe is open this week as usual Wed, Thurs, Fri.
• Friday 23rd Father Christmas is stopping by at 6pm Please bring a small gift for your child labelled with their name.
• Saturday 31st December - The Boathouse Silver Anniversary New Year's Eve Party 7.30pm with Don't Frett Covers Dance Band. Tickets from the bar or office $45 includes BBQ buffet dinner.
