Welcome to the Russian Rugby World Cup Team From the Team at Pegasus Rental Cars.
After weeks of anticipation, the Russian Rugby World Cup team finally touches down in Blenheim today.
The players and coaching staff are due to fly into Blenheim airport at 4.50pm where they will be greeted on the runway by 80 school children performing a haka.
They will be rushed through the terminal, but will have some time to sign autographs.
Public training sessions will be held on Wednesday and on September 17 at Lansdowne Park.
An official capping ceremony at a secret venue, closed to the public, will be held on Thursday, where an International Rugby Board official will present the players with their World Cup caps.
The Russians will also take part in community engagements during their stay.
